i2O Pressure and Flow Loggers

i2O pressure and flow loggers are a cost-effective water monitoring solution. They are accurate, reliable and robust, with highly configurable data transmission and threshold alarm settings. The data logging software platform is capable of ingesting data from either i2O or non-i2O loggers, making data from the entire logger estate available in one place. Through an API, data collated in the i2O platform can be exported or integrated to other systems.

i2O pressure and flow loggers are used by numerous councils and utility contractors in New Zealand as a District Meter Area (DMA) monitoring tool, low pressure complaint investigation tool, minimum night flow measurement to quantify the success of a leak detection survey, meter reading solution for commercial customers, survey the network to see if there is a pressure transient problem and to quantify potential for pressure reduction.

With our hydrant cap, it is easy to install the pressure logger in a fire hydrant chamber and providing there is signal in the area, the logger will transmit from under the hydrant chamber lid.

Features and Benefits

High precision Swiss-made internal pressure transducers deliver outstanding performance and an accuracy of 0.1%. Premium quality transducers are less prone to failure, more accurate and increase reliability.

Easy installation with zip ties (for speed and low cost) or bracket (for secure fastening), and quick fit pressure hoses.

One year non-volatile data storage in the logger (based on 15 min logging intervals).

Client-configurable logging period (1 – 15 mins).

Client-configurable data sampling rate (1 sec to 1 min).

Client-configurable data send (5 minutes to daily).

An extensive range of email alarm options to enhance breach or burst detection with the ability to change alarm protocol between night and day.

Easy to use online portal for visualising data.

Upgradeable to a PRV Controller, the 3 channel pressure logger can be upgraded to become a PRV controller.

A transient detection mode to identify areas with pressure transient issues.

Monitors GSM signal strength to alert you of signal strength issues.

NB-IoT communication lowers cost of data transmission

Data export configurable to client’s specific requirements in relation to locations, data fields, and frequency.

A five year warranty, provides confidence that the i20 loggers will deliver quality data for at least five years.

Minimum maintenance with no recalibration required within the lifetime of the device; hot swapping in the field for battery and SIM; non-volatile data storage up to a year meaning no loss of data from power interruption; filed upgradeable firmware; long warranty and low levels of returns.

Proven to be robust and reliable with operating temperatures of -20°C to 60°C and 85% humidity. Loggers are drop tested to 1.2m, and are IP68 certified against water ingress. 99.8% of loggers have a battery life of 5 years or greater. Less than 1% are returned under warranty supporting reliability data.

Pressure and Flow Logger Equipment Options:

Logger: Flow only (featuring bi-directional flow, enabling the measurement of both forward and reverse flow), 1 pressure & 1 flow, and 3 pressures & 1 flow.
10 or 30 Bar transducers.

Internal battery or a range of external battery packs to complement the internal battery, with cables to connect to any other available DC power source where an alternative external power source is available (e.g. mains, solar, microgeneration from water turbine, etc.).

Internal aerial or external antenna options. The external antenna can be retrofitted easily in the field if needed.

Hydrant Cap and Flexi-Hose to Connect to Fire Hydrants.

Flow Cable to Connect the logger to a flow meter.

Flow Cable with power input option to connect an external battery pack or DC power source.
